Stroll along the paths and enjoy the viewing of extraordinary animals and their behavior. For a small additional fee, visitors can even schedule a personal visit with certain animals including feeding a porcupine, feeling the soft fur of a fox, or even looking into the mysterious eyes of an owl as it perches on your gloved hand!

Founded by two biologists with a passion for educating the public about natural science, the Wildlife Learning Center exhibits more than 70 species from 6 continents in a delightful, park-style setting. On hand to answer questions is a team of specialists with backgrounds in biology, ecology, animal behavior, and more. The WLC supports its mission to shelter animals in need and increase public awareness of environmental challenges through its non-profit organization, the Wildlife Learning Foundation.

Review
This is a great little animal sanctuary with just enough animals to entertain the kids for a few hours. It seems like a great place for a birthday party, and a few people in our group did a private animal encounter session and reported back amazing things. Just hanging out in the reptile room we were able to watch the workers transport a giant boa constrictor, and a volunteer brought out a hedgehog for us to coo at.
